James E Cutting is an cognitive scientist, researcher, and professor in the Department of Psychology at Cornell University in New York. He is known most recently for his research studying how the movies in American cinema have evolved over the years in their structure, their physical attributes, and their narratives and he has published over 100 scientific papers and three books.
